The SiX offers extreme sailing fun, being light and easy to handle while sailing which is also ideal for non-pros.

The SiX has a huge cockpit (self-bailing) boasting close to 11 feet in length. It offers plenty of space for 2 to 5 people although it is optimally sailed with a 3 crew team. Two large and waterproof lockers on port and starboard, plus storage room in the forepeak offer more than enough space for personal items and sails. To keep boat weight light and have enough room to store sails, a built-in cabin was waived.

A ca. 180 kg (397 lb) lead bulb lift keel provides the necessary stability. The deck hardware consists of Harken. The rig is made up of a 7,90 m (25.9 ft) long rotating, aluminum mast without backstay, boom without a downhaul, and a retractable gennaker boom.

Sails: Fully-battened mainsail, furling jib and a gennaker. The traveller (1,78 m/5.9 ft) allows for exact mainsail trim. The use of the SiX is wide, from match racing, club regattas and schooling to boat rental or charter, but most of all just for FUN.

The SiX is all in all a “Pocket OPEN 60″ for inland and coastal waters. A compact, gliding keel boat with the soul of a dinghy.
