The wot-tac is a simple mechanical device that visually displays course strategy on a dial, making it easy to follow and understand navigation, showing the ratio between wind, course and the course you are sailing on. It can be easily kept in your pocket or hung around your neck so that it is always in reach.

The wot-tac is allowed in just about every boat class, not needing batteries or any type of energy supply. It’s light, easy to use and much more accurate than taking a mere guess on the course.

It’s boat-shape design makes using it intuitive, easy and fast – ideal for the hectic atmosphere on the race course.

wot-tac will predict

• start line bias
• wind angles over the side of a boat (where bearings between the marks are known)
• Olympic and Trapezoidal courses
• whether a gybe or bear away set is preferred on a windward/leeward course after a wind shift
